Esmeralda is a graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health masters program at Liberty University. All of her work will be supervised by Lindsay Detlie, LCSW, and Dr. Tasha Nadasdi, Psy.D. 


Esmeralda is a believer in the mind/body connection and loves working with individuals who are seeking to improve their mental wellbeing from a holistic approach. She utilizes evidence-based practices such as:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

  • Anxiety Reduction

  • Mindfulness

  • Mood Management

  • Work/Life Balance

  • Self-Worth and Assertiveness

She has an integrated approach to therapy. She believes in tailoring therapy to the needs of the individual client and is influenced by Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Client-Centered, and Solution Focused Therapy.


As a therapist, her goal is to help each client live life to the fullest. She is passionate about empowering each individual client with the tools that will help them thrive, particularly during transitional periods of life. 

Esmeralda currently lives in Crozet, Va, and enjoys hiking, baking, and spending time with her family, friends and her two pets Macie and Tugger.
