She believes that each of us has intrinsic worth and the innate ability to heal. She aims to work with each client to build a unique, co-created, and collaborative space for self-discovery and growth. Lily hopes to support clients to uncover their most authentic self and empower them to connect to a more meaningful and fulfilling life. She believes that therapy should be an opportunity for the client to be deeply seen and understood with unconditional acceptance and no preconceived notions about who one “should” be.

Lily’s work is grounded in both evidence-based practice and holistic functional care. She utilizes a humanistic and existential approach in conjunction with evidence-based interventions including CBT, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing. Lily is committed to working through a trauma-informed and social justice lens and treating each client as the expert in their own life.

She is also a graduate of the Gestalt Institute of Pittsburgh, where she completed a professional training program comprised of 2 years of in-depth experimental and didactic study of the theory and methodology of Gestalt therapy. Gestalt therapy is a present-focused, action-based practice that emphasizes meaning and empowerment of self.

Lily lives in Charlottesville and enjoys watching movies on the couch, connecting with loved ones, reading fiction novels, and enjoying the outdoors with her dog.
