MJ completed their Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at George Mason University in 2017. With a passion for Social Justice and the LGBTQ+ community, they are excited to find themselves working with the amazing people at Charlottesville Empowerment and the safe, inclusive environment that Charlottesville Empowerment has created. As practice manager, they are in charge of billing, insurance, general office management, and the center's administration.

They enjoy hanging out with their friends when they can, meditating, taking care of their five succulents, and looking for new places to try the best food possible.

Alicia has served as a healthcare professional in many communities for the past 20 years. She has a passion for helping and making everyone she encounters feel noticed and they matter. Alicia has just completed her first degree in Science and General Studies at PVCC and is continuing her education to become a nurse.

Alicia was born and raised in Charlottesville and is happy to have the opportunity to continue to serve her community. As the Administrative Assistant she works closely with the Practice Manager and supports the team in any way she can.

When she has a moment to take a break from the many demands of life. She enjoys listening and dancing to my favorite type of music, Afrobeats. She also enjoys getting outside in the sun as much as possible.
