Phoebe is a Resident in Counseling working toward her independent license (LPC). She has been working with Charlottesville Empowerment since 2021 and currently provides therapy both here and at Region Ten CSB. She graduated from Radford University in 2019 and has previously provided therapy and case management services in community healthcare settings. All of her work at Charlottesville Empowerment is supervised by Dr. Tasha Nadasdi, Psy.D., L.P., and Ellen Krag LPC.

Phoebe's approach to therapy is based on the belief that each individual is the expert on themselves, and she works collaboratively with each client to determine the best integration of treatment modalities. Her primary approaches to therapy include cultural-relational, somatic, IFS, feminist, cognitive-behavioral and affect-focused. She aims to provide trauma informed and culturally humble care to all of her clients. Phoebe has experience with substance use and recovery, childhood relational and sexual trauma, sexual concerns, family of origin issues, and minority-stress issues.

In her free time, she likes to read fantasy books by Black/POC authors, nap, explore plant-mom life and watch shows her friends recommend (there are around 18, she has watched three).

Phoebe stands in solidarity with calls for freedom and independence for all occupied territories.
