Anxiety is one of the most common mental health concerns. We all experience some normative anxiety, however at times it can begin to impact our daily lives.
This workshop will help you understand your anxiety, develop skills for coping with anxiety, and help you develop a plan for regaining control over the stress and anxiety that impacts your life. The workshop series begins with psychoeducation on anxiety, self-assessment, and increasing self-awareness of your anxiety. Sessions introduce coping skills, relaxation and body-calming strategies, tools for reframing anxious thoughts, and collaborative planning for stress and anxiety management.
This workshop is perfect for those who want to learn about anxiety and develop skills to manage anxiety. This workshop is NOT therapy and does not constitute a therapy relationship, however may be appropriate in conjuncture with therapy or for those who are not in therapy.
The 5 hour workshop, typically offered on a weekend day, costs $215. Insurance panels do not cover workshops.
